Bugger it! (Don't mind me, I'm just trying out a few of my English blogger buddy expressions. Thanks, Sparx.) Yep, that is a picture of my LEFT hand, as opposed to my right, where the bracelet started. Until you have successfully completed this crazy little experiment of mine - Kindly keep your mouth shut. Thank you.
Oh, and also I wanted to thank Jck. Hand model, huh? Well, if I ever decide to quit my day job, it's always good to have a back up plan.

I actually haven't done the bracelet thing. I thought at first I'd subconsciously try to be "nicer"... and I realized I haven't kept track. I need to go get a bracelet from my jewelry pile and just do it!
So, if you say mean stuff about people you don't like... does that count? I need more explanation on this process.
BTW... Porter will be 2 next week. He's a funny little guy. :)
Way to go! Glad you are doing well with your experiment (and that you won't be cursing me in August!)
I love this experiment you are doing. I've been thinking about doing it too since I am way too mean sometimes. But...like Nicole, I need some more details. Am I allowed to say mean things about people I honestly dislike and/or strangers who royally piss me off? I don't think I can ever give that up.
Nicole, Not the mama, and anyone else brave enough to attempt the experiment,
You can come up with your own rules, but mine are this. I can't talk negatively about anyone I know. That would include family, friends, coworkers, the boss, etc. Basically, the way I look at it is, if the person was standing in front of me and heard what I was saying, would I be in trouble? If the answer is yes, I switch the bracelet.
To me, strangers don't count, and would be impossible. Trust me, this is harder than it sounds! Let me know how it goes if you do it.
Oh, and Pam, I failed! Read the post again.
I gotta' ask--has the work situation changed? If not, then I have NO IDEA how you made it the few days you did.
If I had been doing the bracelet thing yesterday, I would have had to switch it back and forth about 50 times in a span of ten minutes. I should be slapped, I know.
You do have pretty hands!!
Hope you had a good Valentine's Day Jen. Have a good weekend - Kellan
Ah! I'm an idiot! Sorry! I got all confused! I thought switching hands meant that you had made it--duh me! I got it now and I hope you don't have to switch hands ever. I could never do this- I would have to switch the darn things about a million times a day!
I hope things go better this week! And piggybacking on Burgh- did you change jobs?
I would never judge you. If I tried the bracelet think I'd be switching it so often I'd get carpal tunnel. It's a very nice bracelet though. And I'm envious of you fingernails.
No judgement from me! I'm still too scared to try it.
